SanCap Kiwanis is pleased to announce that Holli Kirk Martin from Heidrick Insurance was the speaker of the week. Holli delivered an informative and engaging presentation on insurance policies that impact the cost of home and vehicle insurance in our area.
During her talk, Holli shed light on the unique challenges faced by residents of Sanibel and Captiva Islands when it comes to insurance. She highlighted the fact that 77% of the population of Florida lives in high-risk coastal areas, leading to insurance costs that are four times the national average. Holli’s expertise and insights provided valuable information to the attendees, helping them better understand the factors that influence insurance rates in our community.
