Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Rudi Hamer to senior vice president. Based in the bank’s Bridge Branch, located at 9311 College Parkway, Hamer was previously a vice president, commercial loan officer and commercial relationship manager.

Hamer joined the bank in 2017, after she relocated to Southwest Florida from Pennsylvania. She is responsible for originating commercial loans and developing new commercial relationships. Hamer has over 25 years of commercial and residential lending experience within the banking industry. She has also previously worked as a licensed commercial and residential insurance agent.

An active community member, Hamer serves on the board of directors of Blessings in a Backpack, Southwest Florida Chapter. She has helped raise significant funds for the organization.

On Sanibel, the Periwinkle Branch, located at 1019 Periwinkle Way, sustained considerable storm damage and is projected to reopen in early 2024. In Fort Myers, at the bank’s McGregor Branch, located at 15975 McGregor Blvd., staff is operating out of a temporary mobile banking unit due to major flood damage to the existing building.
