The Sanibel Captiva Lions Club announces the availability of application for Frances Bailey
scholarships. The scholarships are named for Francis Bailey, one of the founders of the Sanibel
Captiva Lions Club and a longtime member. scholarships are available to students who live,
work or whose parents live or work on Sanibel or Captiva. The scholarships are in the amount
of $3,000 per year and are renewable for up to four years as long as the person remains a fulltime student in good standing. The scholarships are for post-secondary educationand are only
for undergraduate or technical education and not for graduate education. The scholarships are
based on academic performance and financial need. Interested students are encouraged to go
