Sanibel Captiva Business Women’s Association (SCBWA) will hold its monthly luncheon at Tutti Pazzi on Tuesday, June 20th at noon with guest speaker Ranger Toni Westland.

Ranger Toni from the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge will speak on the topic of Refuge Resiliency of wildlife, staff and visitors post Hurricane Ian. Those who attend will learn how the refuge is healing and where the adventure is going.

Ranger Toni has worked for “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge since 2002 and has served in her present position as Supervisory Refuge Ranger since 2009. During her time at “Ding” she has won many awards, including most recently named one of Southwest Florida’s Defenders of the Gulf by Gulfshore Life Magazine. She is one of seven people to be awarded this prestigious designation.

Sanibel Captiva Business Women’s Association is dedicated to empowering and supporting the women who work and live on the islands through networking, mentorship, continuing education and career advancement.

SCBWA aims to serve the community by offering an inclusive, supportive and diverse group of women supporting women. Our focus is the advancement of women’s career development targeted to workers, aspiring workers and the residents of Sanibel and Captiva. The group meets every third Tuesday of the month at various businesses and restaurants at noon.
