BEACH CLEANUP & BREAKFAST: 7:30-11 A.M.

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s Coastal Watch program is honoring our planet this Earth Day by cleaning up Sanibel’s beaches from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22. The cleanup will be preceded by a light breakfast provided by Bank of the Islands at the Bailey Homestead Preserve from 7:30-8:30 a.m.

“In addition to cleaning our environment, we’re looking forward to celebrating our volunteers this Earth Day,” said SCCF Coastal Watch Director Kealy McNeal. “Our oceans and beaches are in need of continual stewardship, and we couldn’t rise to that challenge without help from the community.”
