As the pandemic persists, Tarpon Bay Explorers’ employees continue to provide excellent customer service. “The past year and a half have been quite challenging to say the least,” explained General Manager and part-owner, Wendy Schnapp “Our staff has experienced a lot of adversity; An extended closure in 2020, soft reopening, half capacities, COVID restrictions; none of which made operations easy, but I am proud of our staff continuing to provide a high level of customer service” expanded Schnapp. The Explorers’ exceptional customer service was recognized and reflected by having eleven employees nominated for Lee County’s Visitors and Convention Bureau’s E-Awards.
Lee County’s Visitors and Convention Bureau’s E-Award nominations are given when a visitor feels that someone went above and beyond their expectations to provide a bolstered, rewarding experience as a result of that person’s outstanding customer service. “We also take pride in the fact that our company continuously receives these awards and is a reflection of our values as a company,” explained Schnapp.
