Bank of the Islands has donated $1,000.00 to the event celebrating the 95th anniversary of Sanibel’s historic Community House. The benefit evening is set for Tuesday, January 18 at 6:00 pm and will feature a 4-course gourmet menu designed by the Community House’s new Resident Chef John Wolff.

“Since 1927, the Sanibel Community House has been a gathering place for generations of islanders,” said Bank of the Islands Vice President David Lowden. “As this anniversary celebration rapidly approaches, we are very honored to help mark the occasion. It’s a great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”

The time-honored Community House is now run by the Sanibel Community Association (SCA), a non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich community spirit through educational, cultural, and social gatherings in the historic facility.  Please call SCA at 239-472-2155 to learn more about sponsorship opportunities and event tickets.
