As Thanksgiving approaches, Bank of the Islands is giving thanks for their customers and island neighbors. On Monday, November 22, all visitors to the Bank’s Sanibel and Captiva offices will receive a special gift for their Thanksgiving celebration.

“This is just a small way we can show how grateful we are to be your island bank,” said Bank of the Islands Asst. Sanibel-Captiva Office Manager Susan Schulte. “It’s also an important time to remember those less fortunate, so we hope you will bring a contribution to our Canned Food Drive.”

Donations to the Bank of the Islands Canned Food Drive will be delivered to F.I.S.H of Sanibel-Captiva, Inc. Non-perishable food donations would be welcome additions for the F.I.S.H. Food Pantry.

“F.I.S.H. provides invaluable support and services for our neediest neighbors,” said Schulte. “While we accept lobby donations for F.I.S.H. all year long, we hope to encourage our island community to offer extra help as we enter the holiday season.”

As always. the Bank’s freshly baked cookies and coffee will be available for visitors on that Monday, November 22, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. All islanders are invited to stop by the Sanibel and Captiva offices.
