Hanser, Founder and Chairman of The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Sanibel resident, Robert Blakely to the company’s Advisory Board. Blakely comes to role with a broad range of consultative skills, having served as a senior level executive in large to medium-sized companies across a variety of industries, primarily in the financial and medical services.
Most recently Bob served as Chairman and CEO of Graham Magnetics of Graham, Texas, a company focused on providing data storage products and services to Fortune 500 companies. He was also Managing Director of Stonegate Securities, assisting companies through various financial growth opportunities via equity and debt financing. Blakely continues to hold his Series 7 and 63 registrations with FINRA/SEC. “We are extremely pleased to have someone of Bob’s deep experience in business and finance serve on our advisory board,” said Hanser. “His proven ability to maximize the potential of the companies where he has worked or served on their boards is a tremendous advantage.”
Earlier in his career Blakely served as Executive Vice President at Epic Healthcare of Dallas, Texas, a 36-hospital system, where he was responsible for business development, finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and operations. There he expanded the hospital company to other complementary businesses including surgery centers, skilled nursing, long-term care, diagnostic centers, and ambulance companies.
Blakely holds a BS in engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA in finance and marketing.
