The Captiva Civic Association (CCA) recently hosted its final wine tasting event of the season, bringing together residents and visitors for an evening filled with live music, delicious charcuterie, and a selection of exquisite wines. The event, held in the community room, was a delightful celebration of community spirit and appreciation for fine wines. The CCA would like to thank Calli Johnson for her expertise in wine tasting.
Attendees at the wine tasting indulged in a variety of charcuterie board items, including cheese and salami, perfectly paired with wines such as Rodney Strong Rosé of Pinot Noir, Vionta Albariño, and a Bodegas Caro Cab Malbec blend. The combination of delectable food, exceptional wines, and live music created a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for all in attendance.
As the CCA season of wine tastings comes to a close, the association looks forward to the next season with anticipation, promising even more exciting events for island residents and visitors to enjoy together.
“We are thrilled with the success of our final wine tasting event of the season and are grateful to all who joined us for an evening of great wine, food, and music,” said Emily Ankerson, Executive Director of the Captiva Civic Association. “We are already planning for the next season and can’t wait to bring more engaging events to our community.”
