Robin Cook, senior vice president of Suncoast Prosperity Advisors a division of Suncoast Equity Management, recently hosted a panel of local experts to discuss current real estate, insurance, and mortgage lending strategies for Sanibel and Captiva residents.
Cook was joined by Realtor John Gee Realtor Emeritus of John Gee & Co. Realtors; Chris Heidrick, Agency Principal of Heidrick and Company Insurance; and David Wright, Sr. V.P. of residential lending at SanCap Bank to share their outlook and answer questions related to current and future market value of post-Ian damaged homes as well as anticipated insurance costs, lending opportunities and interest rate trends.
“Our goal was to help educate and answer questions we islanders have about the future of our homes and help us make wise informed decisions as we move forward,” said Cook. “I think we all came away with some helpful information and optimism for the future of Sanibel and Captiva.”
