Jeffrey A. Muddell, Senior Vice President and Wealth Services Advisor at The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company, has been awarded CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

CFP® professionals have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination, covering areas of financial management including the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.
As a CFP® certificant, Muddell must continue to meet ongoing education requirements and uphold the Certified Planner Board of Standards, Inc.’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
Muddell joined the The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company in 2019 and has worked closely with many of their clients, focusing a large part of his efforts on new client development as well as financial planning services for a number of the firm’s next generation clients. Prior to joining The Trust Company, Muddell worked in nonprofit management and philanthropy, most recently as System Director of Gift Planning for the Lee Health Foundation in Fort Myers. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida’s Warrington School of Business and earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Miami, having begun his professional career in broadcasting and journalism.
