The Sanibel FlyFishers Club held its first Fly Tying Night  back on the Island since Hurricane Ian and it was a double celebration since we had the pleasure of being hosted by Whitney Jones at his brand new Sanibel Fly Outfitters shop located at 2240 Periwinkle on Sanibel. The event drew a large crowd of fly tyers both veteran enthusiasts and beginners eager to learn.

The Sanibel FlyFishers Club is dedicated to promoting fly fishing and community-based conservation through various fishing activities, education, advocacy, community outreach, and local philanthropy. The April Fly Tying Night exemplified the club’s commitment to fostering a welcoming and educational environment for fly fishing enthusiasts of all levels.

“It was great to see such a large turnout at our April Fly Tying Night at Sanibel Fly Outfitters,” said Jeff Grossman, President of the Sanibel FlyFishers Club. “It was a fantastic evening -camaraderie, creativity, and sharing knowledge about fly’ tying. We are grateful to all who joined us and to our sponsors for their support.”
